Happy New Year everyone!

I'm finally settled into my new house! We still have a fair few boxes to sort through and a garage that desperately needs organising, but we are generally unpacked and the other stuff isn't urgent.

I've been so busy, the internet got hooked up yesterday, thank goodness. It was a hard week and a half living of a shitty 3G network on a tiny screen.

I have barely had a chance to take any photos of the property yet, but there is definitely heaps to work with in terms of backdrops and generally nice things to shoot anyway. Once everything is a little bit back in order, I'll upload some more stuff. I'll work on the load of photos I picked out to edit so I can start with a semi clean slate of fresh work (although, my puppy photos are still very new). Hooray for a new area to play in!

I just wanted to drop a quick line so you know my few submissions the other week wasn't a once off. More work is coming!

I'm back!
I think I actually might be back.
I've found my passion again.
I've got inspiration again.
Hell, I've actually got some motivation again and have a whole bunch of partially edited photos that I'm getting ready to submit eventually, again.

I'm done with until until mid-feb. I'm currently working 3-4 days a week depending, and I'm moving out with my long term boyfriend on the 22nd!

We have a new addition to our little family. Maple now has a baby sister! Around two weeks ago, we got another border collie. She is champagne/caramel in colour. We're expecting her to have a slightly shorter coat than Maple and for her to be around the same size too. The girls get along incredibly well and Maple has adjusted surprisingly well.

Our new house is absolutely awesome. Its on a 2 or so acre block, with a pool, lots of trees, and definitely a lot of room for the pupsies to grow and adventure! It's in a semi-rural suburb of Brisbane (I thought we were going to be under the Ipswich City Council, but it turns out we're under Brisbane). Very exciting and I can't wait to move in! Definitely a lot of photo opportunities and I'll actually have some really nice backdrops I can use for my puppy portraits. Fun!

But yeah, that's pretty much it for now.

I didn't realise how long ago it was since I updated this. I've been okay. I'm incredibly busy with work and uni. Yes I have a job now. I have so much stuff to edit and upload. I mean a lot. It is just hard to find time to do it. I hope you're pleasantly surprised when I actually do upload something. If you're still watching my movements, that is..

Hey all.
Sorry I've been so slack on the uploads, I've been pretty busy lately.
I will try and upload some stuff, once I actually put all the photos onto my macbook or hard drive.. my computer is still broken, but dean will fix it eventually.
I start back at uni tomorrow. Not really looking forward to having no life again, especially because this semester is going to be a bit of a waste considering I'm going to try and change courses/universities for semester two. Something that will lead me to the career I actually want in the long run instead of something I know I'm not going to use.
So that pretty much all I'm doing currently. It doesn't seem a lot, but I have actually been really busy.. I just don't really want to go into details about it.
Anyways, I should probably go sort out my bag for tomorrow.. I have a 9am start so I need to be on the train at 7am so I can get to uni early and buy all my text books (which I'll need for that 9am class.. man I'm so prepared!), and yeah.

It has been a while.. and I still haven't actually been able to edit anything.
My computer still isn't fixed, we managed to get it to boot, but it is still going to die very soon. There is nothing on the hard drive, so I'm merely using it to play World of Warcraft.

I'm currently in the process of trying to get photoshop on my macbook, and while the screen isn't calibrated, I'm still going to risk it and hope for the best. I just bought a new aviary so I'm pretty much broke until I can buy the equipment I need (I mean I haven't re-calibrated my monitor for at least a year and a half). All in good time, I'm confident I'll still be able to produce a good end result. So if anyone with calibrated screens feel my photos are too bright/dark/have too strong of colour casts, let me know so I can fiddle with the image and try and fix it up.

I still have a month left of uni holidays, so once photoshop is up and running, I can assure you I'll have plenty new work to show you, especially of Canada.

Let's hope for the best.
